I built this giant turtle head out of loyer cane, split bamboo, palm sheathes, wire, paints and recycled materials. It was to dress the stage for Reefbeat Festival in 2019. It also had giant wings and palm fronds woven to represent the shell each side of the head, my vision ultimately culminated in a spectacular and beautiful stage facade! Purpose and meaning entwined!
